Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the most commonly offered and best known type of  massage. If it's your first time getting a massage, a Swedish massage is the perfect massage to sample. During a Swedish massage, massage oils or lotions are used to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes called effleurage. Other classic Swedish massage moves include kneading, friction, stretching and tapping. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, decrease anxiety and depression.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as adhesions).

Reflexology is a treatment focused primarily on your hands and feet. The theory behind reflexology is that there are "reflex points" in the feet, hands and ears that relate to specific organs and glands in the body. Stimulating those reflex points promotes health in that organ via the body's energetic pathways.

Heat Therapy
Heat therapy, also called thermotherapy, is the application of heat to the body for pain relief and health. It can take the form of a hot cloth, hot water, hot stones, or heating pad. It can be beneficial to those with arthritis, stiff muscles and injuries to the deep tissue of the skin. Heat therapy is most commonly used for rehabilitation purposes. The therapeutic effects of heat include increasing the extensibility of collagen tissues, decreasing joint stiffness, reducing pain, relieving muscle spasms, reducing inflammation, edema, and aids in the post acute phase of healing and increasing blood flow. The increased blood flow to the affected area provides proteins, nutrients, and oxygen for better healing.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is an alternative medicine therapy commonly used by Massage therapists. A Craniosacral therapy session involves the therapist placing their hands on the patient, which allows them to tune into the craniosacral system. The practitioner gently works with the spine and the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia. In this way, the restrictions of nerve passages are eased, the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spinal cord is optimized, and misaligned bones are restored to their proper position. Craniosacral therapy helps to treat mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, and vascular headaches.
